DR. RYAN MICHIGAN, PhD

He also has consumer retail and logistics experience from his work at Boston Consulting. He currently consults with Ondeck Australia, a fintech focused on small business finance.
Ryan Michigan’s perspective on premiumisation :
“This would be an ideal add to an internal venture portfolio, a strategic investment in a company with potential synergies but outside the wheelhouse. The range of options if successful, include being absorbed completely or continuing to be a standalone growth partner.
Creating a parallel product range is outside what most mid-market (mass and mass plus) companies would do or are able to do. When (premiumisation is) done right, there is minimal risk of cannibalising current lines while reaching a premium customer & potentially even generating a halo effect, as Lexus does for Toyota.”
